PostHeaderIcon N2N Bodywear 2010 Dream Collection - A Review

So today is one of those cold rainy days...what better a day than to wear my N2N Dream Collection Hoodie and Lounge Pant!  If you've been following my blog you know that I love N2N and have written a few recent reviews on the N2N 2010 Collection.

While the Dream Collection has been out for a bit, this is the first time I've tried the N2N Dream Collection.  Today's review is on the N2N Dream Collection in silver (new color for 2010).  I've been impressed by N2N's Sheer Pants and their Trainer Sweats and was eager to try the Dream Collection.  Not surprising, I'm in love with yet another N2N product.  The Dream Collection is incredibly soft and silk-like and is perhaps one of the softest materials I've felt.  Pure heaven is all that comes to mind when I think the N2N Dream Collection.  The material is a blend of 92% polyester/8% spandex and has a bit of shimmer to it.  Seriously, it feels like you've wrapped yourself in utter luxury when you wear these.

The Hoodie (L5) is long sleeve with a v-neck and hood (of course).  The hoodie fit very well and was super comfortable.  I wore the hood on and off depending on my mood.  I find it kind of sexy to have the hood up. Would you agree?

The Pants (L6) are a lowrise cut and sit comfortably (and quite sexy) at your hips.  The pants are kept up by a drawstring and has no elastic - sexy look and feel.  Just like the sweat pants I reviewed, these drape you very comfortably.  When not wearing underwear underneath, the silky nature of the material shows off your manhood in a rather provocative way - I received a little extra attention that night! ;-)  I  am a 34" waist and tried the mediums which fit perfect and were just the right length.  I could have gone down to a small and still would have been satisfied.  My recommendation is not to size up if you're uncertain - if anything select your real size or go down one (small=34", med=35", large=36").

Both the Dream Hoodie (L5) and Dream Lounge Pants (L6) come in black, slate blue, white and the new silver.  The Hoodie (L5) runs $32 and the Lounge Pants (L6) runs $38 at N2N Bodywear.  While these may seem a bit expensive, they are every bit luxury.  Isn't it time you splurge on yourself?

Without hesitation, I would highly recommend these.  These make a perfect gift to yourself or someone else.  Absolutely one of my favorites in loungewear!  For more information and colors check out N2N Bodwear's website.

PostHeaderIcon McKillop U/W Pouch - A Review

Earlier today, I reviewed the McKillop No 1.5 jock and was quite impressed!  For a relatively new men's underwear brand, McKillop U/W, they have some great products.  I was fortunate to try their 1.5" jock and their 3" pouch.

The McKillop Pouch No. 3 is their thick waistband pouch underwear.  The pouch is made from the same soft mesh blend of 86% polyester/14% spandex as their jock.  The mesh again offers just enough to peak the interest of observers yet maintain a masculine look to it.  The Pouch No. 3 is available in white and orange - they also produce a thin waistband in black and pink.  To be honest, I wasn't sure I'd like the 3" waistband but to my pleasant surprise I did!

On fit and comfort I was again quite pleased.  The thick waistband is aesthetic and adds to the overall comfort.  I've tried other pouch (or sock) underwear but nothing quite like this.  Usually pouch/sock underwear simply covers your manhood and can be difficult to keep in place - especially when you get, er, "happy."  The pouch cups you comfortably to keep everything in place.  This is really a strength especially when you want to wear these under shorts - you don't have to worry about too much bounce.  What I really liked is that the McKillop Pouch No. 3 comes with a support loop that is designed to stop any embarrassing popping out.  What I liked is that it also works as a built-in cock ring - enhancing your profile.  The support loop was easy to get into and was comfortable to wear too - it is optional and the pouch works fine without it too.

All in all, a wonderful pouch that is not only really, really comfortable but also works incredibly well as enhancing underwear.  I will definitely wear these under shorts, tighter jeans, and as evening wear and even daily wear.  If you're not a huge fan of the 3" waistband they also make a 1.5" thin waistband.  Either way, you can't go wrong.

To learn a bit more about McKillop U/W, check out my previous post on their jock.

PostHeaderIcon McKillop U/W Jock - A Review

Over the years I've tried a number of jockstraps.  Some I wear simply for fashion sake and some I wear for sports.  Rarely am I able to wear one for both needs - until now.  A relatively new men's underwear brand, McKillop U/W, has two styles of jocks - a 1.5" and a 3" waistband.  I was fortunate enough to try their 1.5" jock and their 3" pouch (which I'll review later today).

The McKillop No 1.5 Jock is their thin waistband jock.  The jock is made from a soft mesh blend of 86% polyester/14% spandex.  The mesh offers just enough to peak the interest of observers yet maintain a masculine look to it.  The 1.5 jock is available in white and orange - I hope to see some additional colors as McKillop expands their line.  Word has it that McKillop U/W is coming out with a sheer line which should be exciting to see.

On fit and comfort I was quite pleased.  While I wear jocks for sports, I really like to wear jocks in the summer to keep things cool (or hot depending on how you look at it, wink) and when I wear white shorts.  I found the McKillop jock to be very comfortable - more so than many other brands I've tried.   The jock's leg straps fit perfectly on me - just under my cheeks to life and provide comfort.  I've found other brands to sometimes have the straps ride too high where they cross my rear rather than lift my buns.  The pouch was very roomy and supported me well.  For the waistband, it isn't anything flashy but does the job wonderfully.  The waistband sat nicely on me and was comfortable.  Being a thin waistband I was worried it would cut into me, but it didn't at all.

All in all, I can confidently say this is one of my favorite jocks to wear - one because it looks great and two because it serves as a real jock (not just for show).  I would highly recommend this to others.  Hang on before buying until you read my post later today on their pouch - you'll want to buy both!

About McKillop U/W

For those of you unfamiliar with McKillop (as I was), the brand was developed by Ryan McKillop who has been better known as an independent fashion and costume designer (as a man with a BA in Theater I can appreciate a great costume designer!).  Also known for his custom luxury creations, Ryan McKillop has designed some fabulous men's and women's wear.  In late 2007, Ryan started McKillop U/W to create masculine, fashionable AND comfortable underwear.  You can find out more at McKillop U/W.

PostHeaderIcon ManView Bodywear China Groove - A Review

Get your China Groove on!

I recently discovered ManView Bodywear and boy am I glad I did.  Man View has a variety of styles to choose from.  Personally, I really like the look of their new styles over their previous ones.  The style I'd like to highlight today is their China Groove, a mid-rise trunk.

The China Groove comes in black or white and features an Asian-style print along the side.  What caught my attention the most is their incredibly comfortable pouch.  Your package easily slides into the pouch where you are held and supported.  In addition, the pouch creates a great enhancing profile view.  The sides of the trunk are 7" so it is definitely a shorter trunk style.  For me, I really like this look.  Enhancing your rear is a seam down the center to help profile your cheeks better.  I was skeptical when I first saw this - fearful that I'd feel the  seam.  To my pleasure, the center seem did profile the cheeks without any discomfort.  Quite honestly I wouldn't have known there was a seam if I hadn't seen it.  I like when designers can get away with because it really enhances the rear view without taking away from comfort.

The China Groove is made from 95% cotton/5% spandex blend.  The material was soft with just enough stretch to it.  I liked how the material had some give and kept its shape.  I found the legs to stay in place where they should and was comfortable with where the waistband sat on my hips.  Quality was also evident with their double stitching and quality of material.  Best of all, the China Groove were only $18.49 (USD) - a great deal for comfy, sexy undies.

I'd really recommend these and will add them to my favorite's list.  Did I mention how comfortable their pouch is?? Check out ManView Bodywear's site for a look at the other styles and colors available.  These do run a bit small so double check the size.  I usually wear a medium but ordered a large.

PostHeaderIcon Tribe Skull Long Boxer - A Review

The Tribe Skull Long Boxer is my latest review.  I've written several reviews on Tribe and continue to be impressed with their products.

Tribe's Long Boxer is a longer version than their short boxer but for guys in the states, this shouldn't be confused with a midcut.  The Long Boxer is more in line with the traditional length of a boxer brief and Tribe's Short Boxer is more like a hipster brief.  I like both of Tribe's long and short styles.  For me, the big difference is on appearance as I've found both to be fairly equal in comfort.  For the Skull pattern I liked the look of the Long Boxer.  The "skull" is a blank on white abstract print that resemble skulls when you look at them.
The Long Boxer was comfortable and fit well.  I found the legs to stay in place and not ride up.  There isn't a defined pouch, but the soft jersey/elastane blend had enough give that you were supported and well defined.  I enjoyed how the the Long Boxer sat on my waist and always like a full seat (obvious with a boxer).  The jersey/elastane fabric is a soft, stretch material that was comfortable to wear and feel.  The pouch is lined in a wonderful 100% modal fabric for extra comfort.

As you can tell from my other reviews of Tribe, I really like this brand.  Not only do they make really comfortable underwear, they do so with fun colors and designs.  Tribe continues to be one of my favorite brands and can easily recommend the Long Boxer in the Skull pattern.  Check out Tribe's site for more information and additional patterns.
