PostHeaderIcon Obviously NEW Chromatic Lowrise Men's Boxer Brief - A Men's Underwear Review

This weekend, I had the please of reviewing a pair of Obviously NEW Chromatic Lowrise Men's Boxer Brief.  Well, it's been some time since I've tried a pair of Obviously underwear.  I must say, the span of time has resulted in some fantastic improvements.  The short review:  I love my new Obviously underwear!

Chromatic is Obviously's new vivid color line available in briefs, boxer briefs, jocks and thongs.  The Chromatic Men's Lowrise Boxer Brief I tried was in their funky military green.  The Chromatic line also includes blue, red, and yellow.

In my previous attempt at Obviously I had some concerns on there being too much material in their pouch; this has been greatly improved on.  The Obviously Chromatic Lowrise Men's Boxer Brief was incredibly comfortable for me.  All their accolades on how comfortable they are, are true.  The pouch of the lowrise boxer brief is designed to let your package hang naturally, unrestricted anatomically correct position.  The pouch is of the perfect size without any extra material to take away from the look.  The material of the Chromatic Lowrise is made from a modal/lycra blend which is silky, shiny, and stretchy.  Because of the stretchy nature, the pouch accommodates men of all sizes and allows for, er, growth when needed.  If you haven't tried anatomically correct underwear, you don't know what you're missing.  The anatomic design lets your boys hang out and down as they should.  The immediate benefit is comfort, but extra benefits include no sticking, squashing, readjusting, or chaffing.

The waistband on these lowrise boxer briefs have a soft lining and an embroidered logo.  The label is one of those heat pressed care labels which completely eliminates the itchy feeling of a tagged label.  The leg on the boxer brief and of typical length for a boxer brief and didn't ride up on me.

Being a lowrise, I was cautious on how they'd feel; some lowrise underwear is too low and feels like your underwear is falling down.  I found Obviously's lowrise to be just right.  I love the look of a lowrise considerably more than a traditional height.  The boxer briefs sit at your hips but not too low where they're uncomfortable.  And, of course, being a boxer brief I love the full rear end coverage.

Typically, I reserve boxer briefs, trunks, etc... for winter/fall and prefer briefs, jocks, and thongs in summer because of the heat.  Because of the cut and material, I would be quite comfortable wearing these in warm weather.  The modal/lycra blend and the pouch design helps considerably with sweating and overheating.

All in all, I really liked the new Obviously Chromatic Lowrise Men's Boxer Briefs.  Style and comfort truly compliment each other.  These are one of my favorites and can easily recommend them to you. At about $29 (USD) they are on the higher side but considering the quality, material and design, they are worth it.  I hope to try their jock, thong, and briefs and report to you on those as well.

PostHeaderIcon Obviously for Men

Obviously for Men is not what I had hoped it would be.  The reviews and their website claim they are the most comfortable in the world - I disagree.  The rear coverage is too small and uncomfortable - I have a small butt!  The pouch is quite comfortable if you don't mind how it looks.  There is too much material in the pouch.  If I'm semi-erect it's great, for all other times, it looks goofy.
