PostHeaderIcon Malesbasics Tulle Gold Hip Hugger - A Men's Underwear Review

Reviewed by Eric

The MaleBasics Tulle Hip Hugger is a sexy piece of men's lingerie.  For this review, I tried this pair in a size S/M (I am a 31 waist).  I really have to say that I was really impressed by this pair of men's underwear.

Fabric:   The soft mesh fabric is made of a Nylon/Spandex blend.  It’s very lightweight and stretches a bit to fit the body nicely.  They have a sexy transparency that (in the right light) reveals what is underneath.  The gold “dots” sparkle in the light and appear to be “painted” onto the fabric, they don’t scratch or irritate at all.

Front:   The front has a pouch that lightly lifts and supports, I’d have to say it’s one of the most comfortable front pouches I’ve ever been tucked into.

Back:   The back is made like a short square-cut swimsuit, which is very flattering and comfortable.  It does taper very narrowly at the bottom, but doesn’t feel or look like a thong when worn.

Style:   Absolutely stunning!  I had so much fun trying these on, I wore them all day.  Yes, they were that comfortable.  Styled in a square-cut that’s both flattering and comfy; if you’re in the market for a man’s lingerie that is comfortable enough for him to actually wear for more than 15 minutes, I’d highly recommend them.

Craftsmanship:  Although they are made of a very light mesh material they seem durable (they survived my washing machine).  The stitching stretches well with the rest of the material and the seams are stitched flat making them almost un-noticeable when worn.

PostHeaderIcon MaleBasics Bikini Turquesa - A Men's Underwear Review

Reviewed by Eric Layman

The MaleBasics Bikini Turquesa, MB004 Turquoise, is the first of my reviews here on Menswear Review.  In reviewing the bikini, I thought I'd look at five main areas:  fabric, front, back, style and craftsmanship.  Through these review points I am able to better determine the overall rating and, hopefully, give you insight into how this product would work for you.

Fabric:   The soft 97% cotton fabric was very soft and comfortable fit huggingly well.  I especially liked the soft elastic waistband.  Often with “string bikini” styles similar to this, the elastic can be uncomfortable and irritating.  These were completely abrasion free, including the sewn in tag inside the back.

Front:   Although I typically prefer a roomier front pouch, the pouch was quite comfortable and held the boys in place well.  I wouldn’t consider them tight; however, if I had to ask for anything more it would be just a tad bit more room.
Back:  The back isn’t quite a full back; it is more what I would call a half back.   Although I am more accustomed to wearing the fuller back styles, they fit and stayed in place very well.  I was amazed that there was no tugging and pulling, and I wore them the entire day.

Style:   I think the style is a sexy one that doesn’t sacrifice too much comfort.  They can be worn to work or in the bedroom.

Craftsmanship:  This is the first MaleBasics underwear I have worn and they appear to be very well made.  It is obvious to me that comfort and support are priority in the way they are made; and they have done a great job.
