HOM Fil d' Ecosse Socks - A Mens Clothing Review
For all of the men's clothing reviews I've done, this will be the first pair of socks. If you've followed my blog for a bit, you likely know that I typically wear a business suit and work long hours.
Key items of my wardrobe, beyond the suit, are finding comfortable underwear, undershirts that stay tucked, fitted dress shirts, and socks that don't fall down or make my feet sweat. For socks, I often wear CK, GoldToe, Tommy, and a few others. While I've reviewed other HOM products, this pair of HOM socks are the first I've tried from HOM and were sent to me by my friends at Dead Good Undies.
The HOM Fil d'Ecosse are unlike any socks I own. The socks are incredibly smooth with a bit of a sheen to them and are just a tad sheer. Made from a blend of 94% Cotton and 6% Elastane, the socks were comfortable and stayed up (I hate having to repeatedly pull my socks up). I found the socks to fit my feet well and were breathable (didn't make my feet stink). The socks come in a one-size style that are to fit feet that are a UK 6-10 or EU 40-45. I wear a size 11-1.5 US (depending on the shoe) and found these to fit my feet well.
The HOM Fil d'Ecosse are availabe in Black (the color I tried) or Navy and just above the ankle there is a small grey HOM logo. I can easily recommend these HOM dress socks to you and are now one of my favorite pairs of socks. The socks are £9.36 (aprx US $13.93) for one pair or £23.83 (aprx US $35.47) for a 3-pack. While they are a bit more expensive than a standard pair of socks, these are certainly a quality dress sock and are a value for the price paid. Check out Dead Good Undies for more colors and styles - including the unique Asymmetrical pair from HOM.

Thanks to my friends over at Dead Good Undies for telling me about this great article on body shaping underwear and undershirts for men. You may recall my previous reviews of Equmen where I shared some of the same great strengths as this author - posture and back support with slimming your gut as the bonus feature!

Jockey Sport Stretch Microfiber Mesh Trunk Review
I have had mixed experiences with Jockey throughout the years. The Jockey Sport Stretch Microfiber Mesh Trunk, however, I had a VERY positive experiences. When my trunks arrived from Dead Good Undies I was anxious to see how Jockey's sport stretch collection would perform. I must say, they performed quite well!
The fabric is incredibly soft and stretchy and, combined with it's panel construction, allows for incredible freedom of movement. The fabric is made from 95% Tactel and 5% Elastane and mesh panels create a very soft, comfortable and breathable trunk. The waistband and leg bands were very comfortable and the legs stayed in place where they should. This was especially important to me during a workout.
The pouch was also very comfortable - supporting me without restricting me. I could easily wear these for working out, sports or under a business suit. All around, these are a fantastic trunk (boxer brief) and can easily recommend them to others.
One of my favorites and have been pulled out more than one as a favorite pair to wear. The Jockey Sport Stretch Microfiber Mesh Trunk is available in this cool green, white or black.

Sloggi Superfine Hipster Review
The Sloggi Superfine Hipster is incredible. I recently tried the hipster in black (also available in white), which is a sexy, classic look. The hipster is made from an extra fine cotton blend (85% cotton/15% spandex) which makes it incredibly soft and stretchy. When the label says superfine, they mean it. The material was very thin, but durable - creating a very sensual feel to them. The material is so thin, it has some sheer qualities to it.
The front pouch was incredibly comfortable - both because of the cut of the pouch and the material used. As a hipster, it had full rear coverage which made for a very comfortable work day. The waist band and leg bands are very skinny - creating a sleek, sexy look. Because of the soft, stretchy nature of the material, the bands were quit comfortable.
The Sloggi Superfine Hipster is easily one of my favorites and would highly recommend. You can find these at Dead Good Undies (www.deadgoodundies.com) for £10.21 (aprx US $16.77).

Sloggi Borneo Hipster Review
The Sloggi Borneo Hipster is a good every-day hipster. Available in dark red or pale blue, the Sloggi Borneo hipster is made from a soft cotton, elastane blend (93%/7%). The overall fit of the hipster was good. The legs stayed where they should and the pouch was quite comfortable. The stretchy waistband was comfortable and a decent width. I generally like the look of a hipster as it's a nice mix between the regular boxer brief and brief. If you're looking for a decent every-day hipster, I'd recommend the Sloggi Borneo - sexy, classic hipster.
