PostHeaderIcon Expose Horizontal Low Rise Brief - A Men's Underwear Review

Sexy, comfortable underwear is what I asked for and it's exactly what I got!  You may recall that a few months ago I wrote about Expose Underwear - a new men's underwear brand coming out of Columbia.  Expose Underwear has the motto of 'Dare to Expose.'  The range of styles offered by Expose span from somewhat daring  to nothing to hide.  I have been fortunate to try a few which cross gamut of exposure.

This first review is on the Expose Horizontal Low Rise Brief. This low rise is a modest low rise.  Some of the low rise briefs I've tried are extreme and leave you with an uncomfortable fit.  The Expose low rise brief is quite comfortable where it sits on you hips - giving you the sexiness of a low rise but the comfort of a regular brief.

Made from a striped sheer microfiber (91% polyamide, 9% elastane), the material leaves the view with a hint of a sheer look through the alternating sheer horizontal stripes.  The material was quite soft and comfortable for the vary uses I put it through - casual and sports.  The pair I tried came in white which enabled me to wear these under white shorts without my underwear showing - loved it!

In addition to the wonderful material, and sexiness of the sheer lines, I really liked the contoured pouch.  The pouch was comfortable and supportive for all-day comfort. In the rear, I found full coverage which added greatly to the all-day comfort factor.   A good product really boils down to a good pouch, ample coverage in the rear and quality material - all of which the Expose Horizontal Low Rise Brief had.

All-in-all these are a fantastic pair of men's underwear.  The Expose Horizontal Low Rise Brief is sexy, comfortable, and well-made.  I have some reviews coming up on their sheer low rise, sheer jock and sexy boxers.  For more info and to look at other styles and colors, check out the Expose Underwear Website.  You can find this pair online at Freshpair for $25.50.

PostHeaderIcon TOOT Rayon Boxer Brief - A Men's Underwear Review

TOOT men's underwear is one of the reasons I love writing this blog!  I absolutely love coming across a brand I haven't tried before and be blown away by them - TOOT has just blown me away!!  TOOT has recently supplied me with a couple of different styles, with the first review being on their Rayon boxer brief.

Before we get into the review, I find it helpful to know a bit about the brand.  TOOT first began in 2001 with the notion of putting together a brand with unique cuts and designs.  While they are most noted for their underwear, they really have quite an extensive range of items available - underwear, shirts, pants, suits, jeans, and much, much more!

On to the review .... The TOOT Rayon Boxer Brief, is perhaps one of my favorite pair of men's underwear I own (actually I love all of the samples sent, so check back for those reviews).  I have to say, I'm having trouble figuring out where to start on the review - so many aspects are simply awesome!

Starting with the style, the TOOT Rayon Boxer Brief  is a handsome, sexy, yet classy looking pair of men's underwear.  The pair I tried was in white, giving the classy look, but are also available in a myriad of vibrant colors.  The boxer brief sits low on your waist - low enough to give an incredibly sexy look, but not too low where you'd find discomfort.  The addition or the defined pouch and contrasting stitching really makes this a hot pair of underwear!

The fabric used on the TOOT Rayon Boxer Brief is made from a blend of 67% rayon, 28% lyocell and 5% polyurethane (used to make spandex).  The blend creates an incredibly light weight fabric that is silky soft and molds to every curve in the region. ;-D

The fit of the boxer brief is incredibly comfortable and supportive.  The contoured pouch holds and lifts your package comfortably and with plenty of support; the pouch also holds your boys out for all to see!  When thinking about the stretchy nature of the material and the contoured pouch, you can see the outline of your manhood - quite enticing to the onlooker!  As a boxer brief, there is a full seat.  Down the rear is a center seam to better define your butt.  I'm always a bit cautious with a rear seam, but found the seam to not only highlight my butt, but was comfortable as well.  For the waist and leg bands, they were comfortable and kept the legs in place and didn't have any problems with the legs riding up.  NOTE:  sizing is in Japanese sizes- I usually wear a Medium in US sizes, but took a Large in TOOT.  Be sure to size up from what you typically buy.

Quality is quite evident throughout in all of the TOOT products I've reviewed.  Quality material and stitching with flat seams really make this a stellar pair of men's underwear.  Perhaps one reason for the high quality is that TOOT owns their own factory and doesn't have to deal with outsourcing problems.

All-in-all, a hot, comfortable pair of underwear. Without reservation, I can recommend these to you.  While they are more expensive than a typical pair of men's underwear, I would classify these as luxury underwear.  Priced at at approximately $40 (USD) they are a worth the money you'll pay.  You can check out the full range of colors as well as other TOOT styles from their website - www.pants-ya.com.

PostHeaderIcon A Chance 2Design 2Wink Promo - Win Big!

2Wink just rolled out a new promotional campaign, “A Chance 2Design,” and are offering you a fun and innovative opportunity to find your inner fashionista by allowing you to design you very own pair of limited-edition underwear with a chance to win large prizes, such as a AU$200 2wink gift voucher, or even a grand prize of AU$1,500 cash!!

Starting today, contestants can either manually or digitally design an entire pair of underwear and enter their original designs into the online design competition.
After the eight-week-long submissions process ends, three celebrity judges, including reality TV star Jack Mackenroth (Project Runway), award-winning comedienne Deven Green (“Welcome to My…” parody series) and Pinstripe Magazine Editor-in-Chief Marv Valladares, will enter various rounds of judging over the course of two weeks before selecting the winning design, taking into account factors like the best use of color, most creative pattern and other criteria.

Once the winning design is chosen by the team of judges, the brand expects to have 5,000 limited-edition pairs manufactured within eighteen weeks and ready to hit 2wink’s on-line store shelves shortly after. 2wink will donate 50-percent of its net sales profits of the winning design directly to fight prostate cancer. Currently, prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men, behind only lung cancer.  A non-smoking man is more likely to develop prostate cancer than he is to develop colon, bladder, melanoma, lymphoma and kidney cancer combined. This year, in America alone, more than 32,000 men will die from the disease and more than 218,000 new cases will be diagnosed, according to Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Contest entries must be received no later than August 26, 2010. All original designs are eligible and contestants must design the entire pair. All colors are allowed and the waistband width is 4 cm. Entries must be submitted via e-mail in either .pdf or .jpg format to events@2wink.com.au.

All designs entered will become the property of 2wink Pty. Ltd., which reserves the right to manufacture any design without compensation or with notifying the entrant. The winner of the contest must be willing to sign a release form. Entries must include name, mailing address and contact details for participant.

For more information on the “A Chance 2Design” campaign, or to purchase 2wink underwear, visit www.2wink.com.au.

Good luck guys!!!

PostHeaderIcon Todd and Terry Nicholas Trunk - A Men's Underwear Review

New to me, and hopefully not new to you for long, is the Todd and Terry menswear brand.  Todd and Terry, another fantastic brand from Australia, recently crossed my desk - well really my bum.  The brand creates a wonderful line of men's underwear, sleepwear and swimwear.

My review of Todd and Terry is on their Nicholas Trunk; designed in green or yellow with an Asian flare to it.  Like their other patterns, the Nicholas is a fun, unique print that gets you away from simple stale solid colors.

The trunks are made from a quality blend of 95% cotton and 5% lycra.  This blend gives you the comfort and softness of cotton with the elasticity and shape retention benefits the lycra.  The waistband uses sewn-on elastic to give you a soft, comfortable waistband.  For the legs,  the elastic is encased in fabric for a soft feel.  The leg bands were just about perfect for me - not too tight and not too loose; the legs stayed in place and didn't have any problems with them riding up throughout the day.

For the pouch, Todd and Terry use a fly front.  The fly pouch is double layered and comfortable.  While the pouch isn't a fully defined pouch, I found it to be supportive without being restrictive.  The rear is, of course, a full seat with no bothersome seams across the tush.  And, kudos to Todd and Terry for having a tagless label!!

All-in-all, I really liked my Nicholas Trunk by Todd and Terry and can confidently recommend them to you.  They are comfortable, stylish and well made.  An aspect I admire about Todd and Terry is that they have a no-hassle return policy; this certainly says something about their confidence in the products they make.

At $26.50 (USD) they a good buy for the quality, style and comfort you get in these.  And, if you buy soon they are offering a Buy 3 get the 4th Free.  Check out Todd and Terry for the full range of styles and patterns.
