RibbedTee's New "Protector" Singlet Review
In a recent post, I announced RibbedTee's new "Protector" singlet. Well, I've had the honor of trying the new singlet out and boy am I glad I did! This new singlet (or tanktop undershirt) is made from a super soft Lenzing modal and cotton blend. The cut and fit of this singlet is near perfect. I typically don't wear singlets often except for summer time but the Protector may change that. This is by far my favorite singlet! I really can't recommend this highly enough.
As a bonus, and hat I also like about the new singlet, it's a tanktop with a cause. RibbedTee will donate 50¢ to a charity that provides aid & support to victims of domestic violence - trying to change the "wifebeater" slang.

Hot Angel or Cool Devil?
From a style perspective, I thought these were VERY attractive. I really liked the color and cut. In terms of cut, these are a lowrise and sit as such. I found the pouch to have adequate room (could have used a tad more) and the seat to be full coverage (though I would have liked it to sit just a bit higher or have a higher percentage of spandex to have more flex). Overall, these were comfortable so my comments should be taken as me looking for perfection. I would certainly buy and wear these on a regular basis with the current fit. For the leg bands, I found them comfortable and the legs stayed in place - something important to me with a boxer brief.
If you haven't heard of 2wink before, they're an Australian brand made in Perth who launched in 2005. They made the decision to bring production back from China to Australia. You can find 2wink in over 30 countries and they rolled out four new designs within this past quarter. They'll be expanding into swimwear so keep an eye out for them in that market too.

Feel Like An Olympian With 3G Actualwear
With spring rapidly approaching, it's time to start thinking about swimwear. My most recent trial is on the 3G Actualwear Olympia square cut swim trunk. With this pair of trunks, you can feel like an Olympian with the athletic-looking style and colors. While trying these out this weekend, one of the things that impressed me most was the quality. The material, stitching, and overall workmanship are excellent. The material, a polyamide/spandex blend, was soft, stretchy and comfortable. The swim trunk features a drawstring waistband with the strings on the outside - a great look and doesn't leave you with the knot bulge like when the ties are on the inside. The trunks were not only stylish but very functional as well - staying where they should while swimming. There is a fake fly front to give it a shorts look which I think adds to the look. I liked how the trunks supported me and provided an attractive profile.
As you get ready for summer or a spring trip, these are definitely worth a try. Overall, I really liked these square cut swim trunks and can easily recommend them. See you on the beach! ;-)

Go Softwear POP Collection
